Flood cleared and new gully promised!

Lara Pringle, our parish and borough councillor complained about the flood to Paul Trustram, Dacorum's person responsible for drains. Within a short time, he replied,

"We carried out a site inspection yesterday afternoon, and this morning organised and supervised the works to clear the flood. The road gully and outlet to river Bulbourne required cleaning and removal of silt. Unfortunately the location is at the low point and suffers from silt and leaf. We will be anticipating providing an additional gully in the area to provide a further outlet to the river in the new financial year which should assist the drainage at this location."

Well done Lara!
