On 14th December 2023 just before 7 pm  a car mounted the pavement and drive along with one side of the car in the pavement for at least 20 metres. Passers by were alerted to the car as it drove over a glass bottle on the pavement which shattered with a bang. It was a black 4x4, it felt as if the driver hadn’t seen the side of the road and had moved over to allow more space for the cars coming towards it.
